This part of Israel has a stunning landscape with its lush green forests and historic sites with its religious significance as the gate to the holy land.
We will drive along the Mediterranean coast and reach on our first stop the archeological park at Caeserea. This was a prosperous Roman city, where you can see by walking around the ancient ruins and the former glory of the Roman baths, the amphitheatre, port and villas.
After exploring the site, we will head over to Haifa, the capital of the North. This City is famous above all for the shrine of the Baha’i faith, a monotheistic faith, which was founded in the 19th century in Persia. The Bahai emphasize the spiritual unity of all mankind; the unity of God and the equality of all people are the core of this belief. We will walk down the hillside of the garden, enjoying the astonishing terraces with its colourful flowers, and see an amazing view over the city and its shore.
Our next stop is Akko, an ancient city, which is well known for crusader fortresses and the mosques. Here we can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city and have a local lunch at the market, before we continue to our last station ,located on the Meditarreanean Sea, Rosh Hanikra a geological formation, a white chalk cliff, which opens up into spectacular grottoes, formed by the sea. It is so close to the Lebanese Border, that You can literally see over the fence.
